As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Douglas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Starr and Elizabeth "Betty" J. Starr (Scott); and his son Brian. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Starr (Taylor); and his sons, Eric and Jeffrey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rivet Funeral Home & Crematorium (425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH 03054). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Last Rest Cemetery (13 Baboosic Lake Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
