He was predeceased by: his siblings, CLaire Demarias, Elaine KIng and Robert Lafond. He is survived by: his parents, Hormidas Lafond and Cara Lafond (Dore); his wife Lucille Lafona; his children, Dennis Lafond of Hendersonville, NC, David Lafond of Fargo, ND and Jennider Lafond Eller of Cornelia, GA.; his grandchildren, Amy Lafond of Hendersonville, NC and Beth Lafond of Portland, OR; and his stepchildren, Gail Brunt of Gilford, Russell Aubertin of Concord, Scott Aubertin of Machester, Mark Aubertin of Pittsfield and Todd Aubertin of Manchester. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Andrews Memorial Garden.
