He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Cox and Bertha Cox; his wife Elizabeth Cox (Shallow); his sister Diane Clapp (Cox); and his stepfather Joseph Finerty.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Cox and Karen Hurley (Scott); and his granddaughter Julia Baker (Joshua). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
