He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Burns and Mary Burns (Hagerty); and his siblings, Russell Burns and Mary-Ann Rozumek (Burns). He is survived by: his wife Denise Burns (Heroux); his sons, Keith R. Burns, Steven R. Burns and Gregg P. Burns; his grandchildren, Michael Allan Burns, Caitlyn A. Burns and Mary E. Burns; and his brothers, Dennis Burns, Timothy Burns and Daniel Burns. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
