He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Johnson and Hattie Johnson; his wife Donna Spencer Johnson; and his siblings, Oscar and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his children, Russell S. Johnson (Leslie) of Sandwich, NH, Charles E. Johnson (Jody) of Ipswich, MA and Margaret Van Sickle (Randall) of Chatham, MA; his grandsons, Jeremiah and Jacob Johnson of Bend, OR; and his children, Zachary Johnson of Sandwich, NH, Hunter Johnson (MK) of Johnson, VT, David Van Sickle of Mystic, CT, Owen Van Sickle of Boston, MA, Spencer and Annika Johnson of Ipswich, MA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
