It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Sallies in Meredith, New Hampshire, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on August 6, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Tilton Sallies and Dorritt Sallies; his brothers, D. Charles Sallies, Richard M. Sallies, Philip Sallies, David R. Sallies, Kenneth A. Sallies and Donald O. Sallies; his nieces and nephews, David M. Sallies, Scott T. Sallies, Linda Sallies Clements and Jodi Sallies Hart; and his uncles, Ralph S. Osgood and Mant O. Sallies.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Garrison Sallies; his daughter E. Elizabeth Sallies of Falls Church, VA; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Bolt Garrison of Anderson, SC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, great-grand-nieces and nephews, and one great-great grand-niece.
