She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Ives and Arleigh Ives; her former husband Hugh Tierney; her husband Francis Fitzgerald; her son Douglas Tierney; her sister Sylvia Dingeman (James) of Alexandria, VA; her children, Dr. Brian Tierney (Joanne) of Loudon, NH and Ellen Tierney-Jones (Daniel) of Knoxville, TN; and her grandchildren, Chelsea, Collin, Colby, Alysha, Bradford, Arleigh and Benjamin. She was also cherished by several great grandchildren.
