Gertrude Kropa Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude Kropa (Meredith, New Hampshire), who passed away on September 12, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Christian W. R. and Minnie Schwartz (Sprunger); her son Wayne R. Kropa (Julie); her siblings, Ruth Brown, Mary Bahner, Vera Lehman, Virginia Sprunger, Anna Gilliom, Ernest Schwartz and Harold Schwartz; her half-brother Larry Schwartz; and her stepsiblings, Rosie Kuhn, Darrell Wagner and Coleen Allmandinger.
She is survived by: her husband Gomer "Whitey" Kropa; her children, Dale E. Kropa (Janet), William A. Kropa (Catherine) and Susan M. Kropa (Greg Schneberger); her grandchildren, Erik Kropa (Jill), Evan Kropa (Emily), Rachel Kropa (Jack Whigham), Madeleine Burnley (Lucas), Matthew Schneberger and Robin Kropa; and her great grandchildren, Brandt, Christian Kropa, Barlow, Winston Burnley and Millie Faye Whigham. She is also survived by one half-brother, two stepsisters and one stepbrother.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Laconia, NH or the Lakes Region Visiting Nurse Association, Meredith, NH.
