He was predeceased by: his wife Irene Bashar Panuczak; his parents, Martin Panuczak and Katherine Kurzeja Panuczak; and his siblings, Sophie Smyka, Martin, Jr., Edward, Raymond and Ferdinand Panuczak (Fred).
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Helen, Walter Sadlon, Polish and Polka; his sons, Gerald Panuczak (Linda) and Kenneth Panuczak (Janet) of Seymour; his grandchildren, Holly Timms (Ryan), Scott Panuczak and Marisa Panuczak of Seymour; his great grandchildren, Dylan and Amanda Timms; and his nephew Rev. James Smyka. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
