David left this world on January 1, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Matheny (Poole) and John Edgar Matheny; his grandparents, Charlie and Grace Poole; his aunts, Louise and Janet; and his nephew Stephen J. Matheny.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Matheny (Luxem); his daughters, Lalena Matheny (Kevin Grabowski) and Jennifer Matheny; his grandchildren, Brian Mandeville (Jenna DeChristopher), Melissa Devine and Ashley Scanlan (Josh); his great grandchild Noah Mandeville; his brother Stephen C. Matheny (Alice); his niece Lynne Spooner (Kris); his great-nieces, Rachael, Khourtney and Hailey; his great-nephew Kris, Jr.; his sister Janet Zimmerman (Leo); his brother-in-law John Luxem; and his uncle Charlie Poole.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mayhew Funeral Home (204 Daniel Webster Hwy, Meredith, NH 03253).
