She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Russell and Eugenia Russell; her husband Francis J. Schavone; her son Michael J. Christy; and her siblings, Roger Russell and Judy MacKenzie.
She is survived by: her children, John Schavone, Michele Thomas (Greg), Darla Brown (Steve Solbo) and Stephanie Sinclair (Donald); and her grandchildren, Ramie, Nicki, Jason, Jonathan, Collins, Andy, Cathy, Don, Lisa and Sarah. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
