Bernard Merrill Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bernard Merrill (Meredith, New Hampshire), who passed away at the age of 85, on July 24, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Smith Merrill and Isabel Merrill (Horner); his siblings, Donald Merrill, Winston Merrill and Arlene Noseworthy; and his wife Gloria Danforth.

He is survived by: his daughter Julie Ann (Glen Smith); his brother Dean; his grandchildren, Faith of New Hampton, NH, Benjamin of New Hampton, NH and Moriah of New Hampton, NH; his sons, Dean Merrill (Angela Luce Walker) and Dale Merrill (Nicole); his grandsons, Smith of Thornton, NH and Chad of Thornton, NH; his brother Richard Merrill (Carol) of Thornton; and his sister-in-law Ginny Danforth of Ashland. He is also survived by several nieces, a nephew, cousins, and many friends.

A potluck luncheon will also be held at the Elk's Lodge in Holderness, NH, immediately following the graveside, to honor both Bernard and Gloria, as her life was not celebrated after passing in 2020, due to Covid-19 restrictions.
