She was predeceased by: her parents, Henrietta Chickering (Demange) and Carroll Chickering; her sister Carol; and her pets, Mack, Missy and Mia.
She is survived by: her husband Lyle A. Handy Sr. of Marlow; her son David C. Handy (Johanna) of Sandford, ME.; her siblings, Patricia Vanderheide of Port St and Christopher Chickering of Keene; her grandchild Shawn Handy (Linda); and her caregivers, Kelly, Erin and Dr. Randhawa. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
However, the family would prefer donations be made in memory of Dorothy J. Handy to: the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at 580 Court St., Keene, NH or to Hospice at HCS P O Box 564, Keene, NH.
