He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William G. McCarthy and Mary Frances C. O'Neil McCarthy; his wife Noreen Lovering McCarthy; his grandson Joseph Tomlinson; his children, Kelly Ann McCarthy (Haydn Tomlinson) of Leeds, England, Mary Melissa McCarthy-Kraus (Thomas McCarthy-Howe) of West Barnstable and William G. McCarthy (Elaine); and his grandchildren, Maximilian McCarthy, William Kraus, Griffin McCarthy, Zephan Kraus and Jack Tomlinson.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center (537 Union St, Manchester, NH 03104). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Cathedral (145 Lowell St, Manchester, NH 03104).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Mr. McCarthy's name to the Veterans for Peace 3407 South Jefferson Avenue #219, Saint Louis, MO 63118, a cause close to Mr. McCarthy's heart.
