It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Romilda D'Onofrio of Manchester, New Hampshire, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Romilda is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Romilda's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenza Pompeo and Anna Pompeo; and her husband Alfred D'Onofrio. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph (Patricia D'Onofrio) of Ohio and Anthony (Teresa D'Onofrio) of Manchester; her sisters, Maria "Nancy" Chiumenti of Maine and Cesira Villeni of Italy; and her grandchildren, Jordan D'Onofrio (Meredith) of Manchester, Abrianna D'Onofrio of Derry and Quinn D'Onofrio of Manchester.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium - Hanover (243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH 03104). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at the Woodlawn Cemetery (302 Elm St, Everett, MA 02149).
