He was predeceased by: his parents, Sotirea Valkanos (Bazas) and Athanasios Valkanos. He is survived by: his wife Emorfia "Amy" Valkanos (Papanicolau); his daughter Sotirea (Brendan Sullivan); his grandchildren, Harrison, Margaret and Brigit of Farmington, NH; his children, Thalia of Boston, Massachusetts, Athena (Marshall Smith) of Exeter, NH and Athanasios Valkanos of Crete; his granddaughter Zoe of Croatia; his sister Electra Kyratzidou (Andreas) of Thessaloniki; his parents-in-law, Athanasia and Fotios Papanicolau; and his brother-in-law Andreas Papanicolau.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (1160 Bridge St, Manchester, NH 03104).
