She is survived by: her parents, Clair Bauman and Mary Bauman; her husband Alfred Gates; and her children, Linda Bates of Wilmette, IL, Jerome Gates (Lorraine) of Moultonborough, NH, Brenda Gallagher (John) of Lyme, NH, Leslie Gates of Danbury, CT, Roy Gates (Ale) of Mesa, AZ, Alfred Gates (Kathy) of Moodus, CT and Mary Szyman (Robert) of St. Charles, IL.
