Art Will... " - Art & Pauline Proulx View Sign Joseph (Chick) G. Boisvert peacefully passed in his Manchester home July 31, 2018, after a long illness, surrounded by his wife and daughters. Born to William and Gertrude (Proulx) Boisvert on February 6, 1945, he is brother to Alfred Boisvert (pre-deceased), and Janet (Boisvert) Carter. He is survived by his wife, Nansi Boisvert, daughters, Heidi Boisvert and Billie Jean Osgood, and grandsons Brendan and Gavin Osgood. He was a graduate of St. Anthony High School and of SNHU. A Vietnam War veteran from 1965-7 (35th Artillery), Joe was a dedicated union member and letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for fifty years. Loving husband and best friend to his wife, Joe was a devoted and involved father. An avid world traveler, a nurturing coach and loyal sports fan, he was also a lover of opera and the arts, who enjoyed being in nature, especially by the sea. Family and friends will sorely miss his mischievous humor and laughter, kindness and generosity. A celebration of Joe's very full life will occur in Kennebunk during September.
