He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerard Gilbert and Diana Gilbert (Billy); his wife Germaine Gilbert (Plourde); his children, Jan Slemp, Jaime Gilbert and Joseph Slemp; his grandsons, Luke Howard and Steven Slemp; and his son-in-law Walter Cairns.
He is survived by: his daughter Joyce Cairns of Manchester; and his stepdaughter Gayle Dolbeck. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and many dear friends who were touched by his strength.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Pius X Church (575 Candia Rd, Manchester, NH 03109).
