He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Doherty and Sadie Doherty (Harkins); his siblings, Edward Doherty, Ann Hanwell, Neil Doherty, Helen Lee, Mary Pipia and Catherine Donovan; and his brother-in-law James Sherry.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Doherty (Villa); his children, Kerry Reddington (Shawn) of North Reading, MA and Brian (Megan) of Manchester; his grandchildren, Fiona, Kevin, Keira Doherty, Andrew and Catherine Reddington; his siblings, Claire Stanton of Braintree, MA, Frances O'Toole (Robert) of Milton, MA and Paul Doherty (Patsy) of Southport, N. C.; his sisters-in-law, Carol Doherty of Milton, MA and Ann Sherry of Glastonbury, CT; and his siblings, Lois, Albert Hanwell, Thomas Lee, Joseph Stanton and William Donovan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
