He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle Douglas and Leona Mae Chute (Smith); and his siblings, Fred, David, Dick and Marlene.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Chute of New Boston, NH and Julie Despres of Charlottesville, VA. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren.
