He was predeceased by: his siblings, Iris Haskell (Ken Haskell) and Gary Kimball; and his brother-in-law Lee Plimpton. He is survived by: his sister Janice Plimpton; his sister-in-law Gracie Kimball; his children, Thomas F. Kimball (Helga Kimball), Margaret Ann Rogers (William L. Rogers) and Linda G. Case (Thomas D. Case); his close friend Idell Richardson; his grandchildren, Justin Kimball (Jennifer Steele), Helena LaKritz (Kevin LaKritz), Lee S. Rogers, Shawn T. Case, Travis M. Case and Alexander R. Case; his great grandchildren, Samantha, Olivia, Jakson, Hugo and Kendall; his pet George; and also, Carol Clawson Beckmann, Ty Clawson, Jessica Howard (Griff Howard), Landon and Tristan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
