He is survived by: his wife Lalba Rani; his daughters, Shalini Verma (Michael Radosevich) and Swati Sabita Verma; his grandsons, Nikhil and Vikash; and his siblings, Chandra K. Verma, Suman Verma, Shobha Verma, Usha Saini, Deepa Sharma and Rekha Saini.
