He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Gowitzke and Amy Gowitzke (Coldwell); his wife Ruth Gowitzke (Nelson); and his sisters, Charlotte Tewksbury and Helen Savage.
He is survived by: his uncle Sams; his sons, William Gowitzke (Young), Thomas Gowitzke (Kathy) of Bethlehem, NH and John Gowitzke (Esther) of Gales Ferry, CT; his grandchildren, Laura, Nicole, Michael, Elizabeth, Anne, Ruth, Esther, Eli and Corinne; and his great grandchildren, Anastasia, Liam, Ruby, Elliot, Lonnie, Zoey, Aiden, Desmond, Everett, Laila, Kieran, Taya, Mila, Christopher and Matthew. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
Guidelines on face-coverings and social distancing will be observed.
