He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Douglas LaPlante and Abbie Christie; his parents, David LaPlante and Martina LaPlante; his significant other Shirley Smith; and his siblings, David Laplante, Eileen Gedraitis, Martina Koziak and Denise Koszewski. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in Phil's memory to Littleton Regional Healthcare, 600 St. Johnsbury Road, Littleton, NH 03561.
