It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kurt Schaefer of Litchfield, New Hampshire, born in Norwood, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 12, 2022, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Charles Schaefer. He is survived by: his stepmother Betty Schaefer of Buxton, ME.; his wife Marie Schaefer (Gilbert) of Litchfield; his children, Ivan of Litchfield, NH, Richard (Elizabeth) of St. Augustine, FL, Cici (Chris) of Hudson, NH and Katrina (Troy) of Hudson, NH; his grandchildren, Thomas, Owen, Hannah and Montgomery; his stepbrothers, Brian Currier (Leslie) of Standish, ME and Dan Currier (Jill) of Riviera Beach, FL; his aunt Diane Pizura (Frank) of Norton, MA; his cousin Nick Burlingame (Erin) of Plainville, MA; his friend Steve Webber; and his pet Hagar.

In lieu of flowers the family encourages donations be made in Kurt's loving memory to Litchfield Baseball Association or Motley Mutts Rescue, 114 Londonderry Turnpike #4 Hooksett, NH 03106.
