It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gertrude C. Spanos of Lincoln, New Hampshire, who passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James P. Spanos; her parents, Romeo Marchand and Alice Marchand (Makos); her brother Paul Marchand; and her sister-in-law Barbara Marchand (Rafferty) of Dracut.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Spanos (Sandra Catania), George Spanos (Jayne) of Lincoln, NH, Lisa Blanchette (Bob) of Bow, NH and Crissy Ouellette (Jason) of Manchester, NH; her grandchildren, Iain Ouellette of Clinton, MA., Dimitri, Nicholas Spanos, Alice and Calvin Ouellette; her brother Robert Marchand (Carol); and also, Covu and Sapphire.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Laurin Funeral Home (295 Pawtucket St, Lowell, MA 01854). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rita Church (158 Mammoth Rd, Lowell, MA 01854). A committal service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Westlawn Cemetery (215 Boston Rd, Lowell, MA 01852).
