He was predeceased by: his parents, Than Charity and Blanche Charity (Knight); his wife Wilma Charity (LaShomb); his son David B. Charity; his grandson Derek Johnson; and his sister Joyce Emlaw.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Charity (Pamela) of Newmarket, Robin Jabre (John) of Wells, ME, Tammy Lang (Alaric) of Winter Haven, FL and Gail Johnson (Rick) of Rochester; his grandchildren, Michael, Stacey, Rachel, Kim and Amanda; and his brother Lee Charity of New York. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; a great great grandson.
