He was predeceased by: his parents, Wendell McDonald and Lillian McDonald; his siblings, Michael, Stephen McDonald and Mary; his brother-in-law David Sciapucci; his niece Denise Cleveland; and his parents-in-law, Anna and Alfred Saulnier.
He is survived by: his children, Michele and Jim; his wife Linda McDonald; his children-in-law, George Caccavaro III and Christian McDonald; his granddaughters, Anna, Mia Caccavaro, Brynja and Ailsa McDonald; his sister Brenda; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Cleveland, Phylis and Joe Horvith.
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to Newport Senior Center's Meals on Wheels program.
