He was predeceased by: his parents, Eula Ruth (Darling) and Thomas Anthony Cooney; his brothers, Michael and Tommy Cooney; and his nephew Royce Guyer Jr..
He is survived by: his sisters, Ellen Guyer (Royce Sr.), Lynn Horton (Mike) of Nashville, TN and Margaret Romano (James) of New Smyrna, FL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
