He is survived by: his wife Jan Holmes of Lebanon, NH; his sons, Chris Holmes of Brookline, NH and Daniel Holmes of Madbury, NH; his grandchildren, Andrew, Justin, Charles and Elyse; his great grandchildren, Easton and Everett; his sister-in-law Barbara Holmes; his sister Merilyn Holmes; his nephew Michael; and his niece Heather.
