She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold Forest; her son Frank Forest; her daughter-in-law Phyllis Forest; her great grandchildren, Michael Justin Dewhurst and Travis Basile; and her brother Gerald "Bud" McCormick.
She is survived by: her children, James Forest of Concord, Glenn Forest (Patricia) of St. Johnsbury, Sharon Shatney (Kenneth) of Arcadia, FL, Arlene Allin (William) of Lancaster, NH and Claire Chapman (David) of Granville, MA; and her brother Kenneth McCormick (Janice) of Theresa, NY. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
