He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis A. Sargent and Mary Sargent (McNeill); his wife Barbara Sargent; his daughter Carol Mistretta; his son-in-law Michael Mistretta; and his son Charles Sargent.
He is survived by: his sons, John Sargent (Robin) and David Sargent (Cynthia); his grandchildren, Joshua Sargent, Adam Sargent, Summer Sargent, Jackson Mistretta and Travis Mistretta; and his sister Marilyn Babineau.
