He is survived by: his parents, Betty Batchelder (King) and Hazen Smith; his wife Ann Smith (Provencal); his children, Katherine Smith Adams of Concord, NH, Alicia Hird (Andy) of Northfield, VT and Andrew Smith (Kristine Chapman Smith) of Sherwood Forest; and his siblings, Lorraine Howland, Virginia Crowe, Russell, Hazen and Gene Smith.
