She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Hanchett (Stone) and Errold "Buster" Hanchett. She is survived by: her former husband Dennis Dupuis; her children, Lisa Wentworth (Doug) and David Dupuis (Dawn); her grandchildren, Mikala, Jordan Wentworth and Ethan Dupuis; and her sister Noreen (Rick).
She spearheaded her own project "Adopt a Civil War Veteran" where she received donations for military type stones for the Civil War veterans without military recognition.
