She was predeceased by: her husband Phillip L. Gomez, Sr.; her father Frank; her sisters, Margaret, Sylvia Kelly and Irene Beauleau; her son Sheldon E. Brown, Jr.; her grandson Robert Merrill, Jr. (Bobby); and her son-in-law Russel J. Thornton.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip L. Gomez, Jr. (Norma), Blanche Pepin (Stan), Marion Thornton and Linda Brown; and also, Fergie, Olivia and Rocky. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, 17 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
