He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jr. Hunnewell and Alida Bierenbroodspot Hunnewell; his brother Albert; his son Charles Otis Hunnewell IV; and his granddaughter Briana Susan Mayes.
He is survived by: his wife Alean Hooge Hunnewell of Clinton, Louisiana.; his children, Calvin E. Hunnewell (Theresa), Andrew Hunnewell (Rhonda Cutting), William Hunnewell (Lisa), Mary Hunnewell Mayes (Ben), Paul Hunnewell (Shannon) and Susan Hunnewell Duval (Dan); his grandchildren, Caroline Hunnewell Mellish (Ramsay), Nathan Hunnewell, Justine Hunnewell (Scott Roberts), Calvin P. Hunnewell, Emily Hunnewell, Avery Hunnewell, Donka Hunnewell, Jacob Hunnewell, Lauren Hunnewell, Luke Hunnewell, Noah Mayes, Trevor Mayes, Leah Mayes, Reghan Hunnewell, Jocelyn Hunnewell, Alena Duval, Otis Duval and Ashley Duval; his great grandchildren, Liam Bean and Kai Nugent; and his sisters, Alida Ballard, Mary Ford (late Brad) and Betty Ledoux (Ralph). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
