He was predeceased by: his parents, Burleigh Whitney and Melvina Clara Whitney (Huntington). He is survived by: his close friend Lisa Parks; his stepchildren, Tiffany Parks (Les), Goobie Parks (Melissa) and Taylor Parks; his grandchildren, Jon, Boe and Hunter; his siblings, Burleigh, L. Whitney, Thomas Whitney, Michael Whitney, Laurel Whitney Fjell, Juanita Whitney Thomas, Benjamin Whitney, Kenny Whitney and Penny Whitney Buckalew; his niece Jessica; and his nephew Josh Savage. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
