Margurite Scales Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margurite Scales of Lancaster, New Hampshire, born in Concord, Vermont, who passed away on June 14, 2021 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Fisher and Susie Fisher (Briggs); her husband Elwell Scales; and her siblings, Ralph Briggs, Renford Fisher, Carl Fisher, Verl Colby and Eula Ranney.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Scales Marshall (Lane) of Richmond, VT; her grandson Jerry Marshall (Maggie McDonald) of Stowe, VT; her great grandchildren, Avery Scales Marshall and Cooper Anthony Marshall; her niece Marie Blow of Essex, VT.; and her close friend Connie Casey of Lakeland, FL.
Maggie was proud and happy to live to be a hundred years old and survive a diagnosis of COVID 3 days before her 100th birthday.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Country Village Activities Fund, 91 Country Village Rd., Lancaster, NH.
