He was predeceased by: his parents, Alyre Guay and Beatrice Guay (Chatigny); his sons, David and Jerry; and his pets, Simba and Dolly.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Macy of Long Island, NY; his children, Danny Guay (Lisa) of Groveton, Judy Matthews (George) of Lancaster, Linda Boucher of Derry, NH and Jennifer LaPointe (Daniel) of Knox; his daughter-in-law Monika Guay (Jerry) of Groveton; and his grandchildren, Belinda, Patrick, Joshua, Christian, Matthew, Nathan, Brianna, Samantha, Korey and Megan. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
