It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Blenda M. Whitney (Lancaster, New Hampshire), who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wellington Morey and Zilla Morey; her sisters, Hildreth, Muriel, Elsie and Elise; and her granddaughter Eva Conant.
She is survived by: her husband Franklin Whitney; and her children, Franklin Jr. of Boulder, CO, Judith Conant of Maidstone, VT, Joel Whitney of Randolph, VT and Elizabeth Robinson (Scott) of Randolph, NH. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the backpack program at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Lancaster, or to the Vermont Food Bank.
