He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Rathke and Thelma Rathke (Slavin); his sister Mary Sue Meyers; and his children, Jeffrey Rathke, William Rathke, Theresa Rathke and Christine Rathke.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Agnes Rathke (Rufé); his children, Michael Rathke (Pamela Rathke) of Nashua, NH, John Rathke (Patricia Rathke) of Taunton, MA, Pamela Pyra (Eric Pyra) of Tilton, NH and Stephanie Grabek (Paul Grabek) of Cromwell, CT; and his grandchildren, Troy, Lauren, Megan, Nicholas, Ethan, Kendyl and Aiden. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 2 nephews.
