He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Sr. Rice and Laura Rice (Fregeole); his wife Dorothy Lee Rice (Judkins); his sister Margaret Smith; and his stepson Richard Douville.
He is survived by: his children, Amy Rice of Tilton, Molly Rice of Tilton, Jennifer Goyette of Gilford, Timothy Rice (Patty) of Laconia and Thomas Rice of Tilton; his grandchildren, Christopher, Angela, Michael, Jessica, Maygan, Ashlee, Garret and Autumn; his stepchildren, Kathy Betourne (Gary) of Tilton, Debbie Harvey of Belmont and Jeff Douville of Belmont; and his sister Eleanor Leclerc (Armand) of Laconia. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
