He was predeceased by: his parent Burton Baldwin Stuart. He is survived by: his parent Katherine Blakeslee Stuart; his wife Ruth Neubert Stuart of Sandwich, NH; his daughter Elizabeth Anne Stuart; his son-in-law Brian Mark Doyle; his grandchildren, Clara Stuart Doyle of Washington, DC and Paul Stuart Doyle of Washington, DC; and his siblings, Anne Stuart Galli of Portola Valley, CA and David Baldwin Stuart of Auburndale, MA.

He excelled in connecting people, including assisting with many support groups, including for PFLAG, vocal disorders, and Alzheimer's disease.
