He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond William Derrick and Louise Derrick (Turcotte); and his brothers, Bill and Jerry Derrick. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Derrick (Dow); his son Daniel Derrick; and his sisters, Virginia Bombard (Derrick), Sharon Derrick, Gina Langlitz (Skip) and Cheryl Hayes (Jim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He still continued his cooking, especially making muffins and coffee cake, even as his Parkinson's progressed.
