He was predeceased by: his parents, George A. Sawyer and Ruth Sawyer (Nolan); his brother-in-law Dudley Carey; and his nephew Colten. He is survived by: his wife Sally Sawyer (Withington); his children, Pepper (Carrie) of Laconia and Samantha Sawyer of Gilford; his siblings, Roger (Jerry Sawyer) of Gilford and Nancy Mawson (Peter) of Gilford; his sister-in-law Susanne Carey of Florida; his grandchildren, Peyton and Jaimen; and his nephews, Peter John "PJ", James, Tim, Justin and Shayne Carey.
