He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Smith Reitz and Ruth M. Fleischman Reitz; his wife Sherry Hanks Reitz; and his daughter Sarah Hanks. He is survived by: his children, Whitney E. Reitz McCallum (Robert) of Moultonborough, Amy C. Lovisek (Phil) of Laconia and Daniel Karl Reitz of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Maximus George Lovisek, Leah Liu Reitz McCallum, Hunter Jake Lovisek and Tessa Mei Reitz McCallum (Ginny French); his siblings, Donna Reitz DeForest (Bruce) of Delaware and Norman Reitz (Julie) of Rochester, NY; his friend Catherine Reitz Tokarz; his children, Jason and Helen Hanks; and his grandsons, Liam and Ian Hanks of Tilton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home (164 Pleasant St, Laconia, NH 03246). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Laconia High School (345 Union Ave, Laconia, NH 03246).
