John Ramsay Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Ramsay (Laconia, New Hampshire), who passed away on November 14, 2023 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Ramsay to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Ramsay and Catherine Ramsay (Wood) of Academy Street; his sister Patricia Lachance; and his siblings-in-law, Leo of Laconia and Ellie Ramsay.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ramsay (Henson); his children, Mark Ramsay (Anne), James Ramsay (Jenny Giraldo) and Katherine Tevnan (John) of South Weymouth, MA; his grandchildren, Brendan Ramsay, Philip Ramsay, Samantha Ramsay, Katelynn Ramsay, John E. Tevnan, IV, Elizabeth Lefebvre (Tevnan), Erin Tevnan and Matthew Tevnan; and his brother Dexter Ramsay of Florida. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that donations be made in John's memory to the John Ramsay Memorial Scholarship, 14 Country Club Road Suite 9, Gilford, NH 03249, to benefit a local student wishing to continue their education in the field of Criminal Justice.
