She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Oswald and Klara Oswald (Mueller); her husband Gordon R. Spence; and her sisters, Elfriede and Edith.
She is survived by: her nieces, Suzanne Bullerwell and Kristina Laurendeau. She is also survived by four great nephews; one great niece; two great grandnephews; and one great grandniece.
