Anita Hewitt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anita Hewitt (Laconia, New Hampshire), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Mitton and Florence Mitton (O'Neal); her husband Carl Hewitt; her siblings, Diane Mitton, Neal and Wayne Mitton; and her nephew Douglas Hewitt, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Hewitt (Sheila Parsons) of Gilford, Bruce Hewitt (Nancy) of Gilford and Lois LaVoie (Lou) of Peabody, MA; and her grandchildren, Andrea Dean, Jessica Lavers, Amanda Hernandez, Christopher LaVoie, Dan Hewitt, Ashley Hewitt, Russel Gioseffi and Shauna Hewitt. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gilford Community Church (19 Potter Hill Rd, Gilford, NH 03249).
For those wishing, the family suggests donations may be made in her memory to the Gilford Public Library, 31 Potter Hill Rd, Gilford, NH 03249.
